Traguer AI was born from a strong conviction: everyone must have control over their data and their artificial intelligence.
In 2024, faced with the dominance of AIs hosted on foreign servers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini...), we decided to act: build a sovereign alternative that gives control back to users.
From idea to Freddy AI V1 MVP: 12 weeks. A powerful general chatbot, 100% locally hosted, designed from Yaoundé, Cameroon.

January 2024 — The Idea
Observation: Africa has no control over the AI it uses. Decision to create Traguer AI.
February-March 2024 — Research & Partnerships
Needs identification, market study, first contacts with MinPosTel, Orange Fab, Google Startups.
April 2024 — MVP Development
Launch of Freddy AI V1 general chatbot development. Local infrastructure Cameroon.
April 2026 — Public Launch
Freddy AI V1 available. First sovereign AI chatbot in Africa. 12 weeks from idea to MVP.
