Traguer AI started with a simple question: how can artificial intelligence serve concrete problems, often overlooked by major international vendors? Preserving family memory, bringing transparency to public procurement, improving access to employment, supporting continuous learning: these are issues that touch everyday life across Africa. A young Cameroonian team, based in Yaoundé, set out to answer them with the same engineering standards as the world's best technology studios.

The first product served as a proof of concept: to show that a Cameroon-based team could design, build and run a demanding technical platform in production, from design through infrastructure. That first success gave rise to a genuine ecosystem — five products today, each built with the same method: deep research into the problem, careful design, robust engineering. Our team now applies that same method to help businesses and institutions bring artificial intelligence and custom software into their own operations.

We remain a young team, based in Yaoundé, driven by the ambition to prove that world-class technology expertise can be born and grow in Cameroon — and that, from Africa, it can build products useful well beyond its borders.
